Who We Are

Zoe Little Kidz

Zoe Little Kidz is our Children’s Ministry at Zoe Christian Fellowship of Whittier. We are committed to reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a fun and exciting way! Our ministry program is geared to grow and develop students, spiritually, academically, physically and socially. We do this by providing kid-friendly bible lessons, activities, games and music. We provide infant care for children eight weeks and older and offer child ministry ranging from pre-school to grade 6. We also provide care for special needs for toddlers to grade 6, with mild to moderate special educational needs that include learning disabilities, communication disorders, emotional and behavioral disorders (such as ADHD and ADD). We have professionals who are experienced serving children with special needs as part of their daily vocations. Zoe Little Kidz happens every Sunday during our 8am & 10:30am services and Wednesday night at 7 pm, located in Room 43.

Synergy

Synergy is our Youth Ministry at Zoe Christian Fellowship of Whittier. If you’re between the grades of 7 and 12, we want to personally invite you! Synergy is a place where we are passionate about teaching our students about the life of Jesus and how they can apply this to their everyday life. We create community so students can connect with others through serving, missions trips, outreaches, activities and special events.  Also, our ministry program is geared  to grow and develop students spiritually and academically by connecting with God through our Sunday, Wednesday and special events services and gatherings. It’s a great place to encounter God and meet new friends. Synergy happens every 2nd & 3rd Sunday morning at 10:30am, located in the Fireside Room and Wednesday night at 7 pm, located in Room 41.

Grow

The Student Ministry Growth Track is a multi year program. The curriculum is integrated into our Sunday, Wednesday, Special Events, and International/Local Missions programs. Each grade has a specific growth plan designed for our students (from 1st grade thru high school) to equip them with the necessary foundation to thrive in life and represent Biblical truths as they enter college,  their careers and beyond. Our Student Ministry leaders have been through an extensive orientation/training process and have undergone background checks and screenings to prepare them to help our students grow.

The topics covered in our Student Ministries Growth Track include:

  • The integrity and infallibility of the Word of God
  • Faith (What faith is and how to apply it)
  • Prayer (Biblical patterns of prayer)
  • Healing
  • Worship
  • The Holy Spirit (Baptism and speaking in tongues)
  • The gifts of the Holy Spirit
  • Sharing their faith
  • Defending their faith (Apologetics)
  • Scriptural memorization (Psalm 91, Psalm 23, Fruit of the Spirit, books of the Bible, etc.)
  • Global Missions & Outreaches (Doing what Jesus did)
  • Giving of Time, Talents and Treasure

The  program is progressive and age appropriate. In addition to covering topics in a classroom setting, practical application and enrichment opportunities are provided for our students including but not limited to:

  • International Cross Cultural Ministry & Education exposure by participating in the Antioch Missions trips
